I’ve learned that the most beautiful things in life happen when you’re finally allowed to be yourself. I wasn't always safe like I am now. I actually came very close to losing everything because I didn't know how to be "friendly" the way humans expected. I’m a feral boy at heart, and back at the shelter, that almost cost me my life.

I didn't understand why I was scheduled to leave this world, but the people here saw something in me worth saving. They reached out immediately and brought me to this wonderful place where I don't have to be anything I’m not.

Even though I’m still not a big fan of being touched by people, I absolutely love my life here. If you look at the cameras, you’ll see me hanging out with my kitty friends, soaking up the sun and living every day exactly how I want to. For the first time, I’m happy just being Clive.

The only thing that would make my days even better is a sponsor mom or dad. I might watch from a distance, but I sure do love the yummy food and treats that come my way! Having someone in my corner to help with my snacks and care would mean the world to me. Would you be my special person?
