I'm a special girl, and I've been lucky enough to find my way to this amazing sanctuary. I'm a feline leukemia positive girl, and let me tell you, things haven't always been easy for me. I was actually scheduled to be euthanized just because of my positive status. It was a pretty scary time for me. But then, something amazing happened. A supporter of the sanctuary reached out about me. The only catch? I was all the way in Illinois, and the sanctuary is in Florida. Well, the caretakers took one look at me, just a little baby back then, and they made the incredible decision to drive all the way to Illinois to save me. It was quite the journey, let me tell you. I absolutely loved the car ride. I spent my time looking out the windows and cuddling on the caretaker’s laps. It was an adventure I'll never forget. Years have passed, and I'm still here, doing well and living my best life. I've grown into a sassy girl who likes things done my way, but hey, that's just part of my charm.  I'm just as happy and cuddly as I was when I was a baby back at the animal control. I love running full speed on the cat walks and meowing at the caretakers as they walk by. It's my way of saying hello and spreading a little joy.
