Sponsor Glen

I’ve heard the caretakers call me a "fighter," and looking back at where I started, I think they’re right. Not too long ago, I was a very tired, very hungry senior boy. I weighed less than five pounds, and my body was fighting battles with diabetes and IBD that I couldn't win on my own. I was so weak that I wasn't sure how much longer I could keep going.

But I wasn't ready to give up. I spent nearly two months in the hospital, and even when things got scary, I just kept focused on the next meal and the next kind hand that reached out to pet me. I’ve gained weight, I feel good, and even though I still have to be careful with my insulin and my health, I feel like a brand-new cat.

These days, my life is full of the things I love most. I’m a very food-motivated and I can spend hours by the window watching the birds fly by. I’m also a big fan of giving "kitty kisses" to show my thanks for this second chance.

The only thing that would make my retirement even sweeter is a sponsor mom or dad. Having someone special to help with my medical care and maybe keep my favorite treats stocked would be amazing. I’ve fought hard to be here. Would you like to be the one to help me enjoy the rest of my journey?
